I grew up in South Florida, Homestead area and spent most of my life spearfishing in the Keys and Caribbean. My dad taught me photography and have enjoyed working with cameras since I was 13.
Employment was primarily in the photo lab industry where I specialized in film processing and color printing. During that time I worked with many famous photographers from Miami to Boston and got the chance to learn from behind the scenes.
My favorite subjects are landscapes, Food, nature, minerals and gems, but will shoot anything that's catches my eye. I currently use Canon and Nikon equipment, but really want to go back to large format cameras because of there diversity in image control.
My rule of thumb in photography is that there are no rules, but to let the subject lead you to the final destination.
